Year 2’s science topic this term is Working Scientifically. They have been learning all about the 5 different enquiry methods and how they can use them to plan their own experiments. The class decided that they wanted to see what happened when they added mentos to different drinks as they had heard that adding them to coke would cause an explosion. They planned their own experiment and then carried out their own research in small groups.
