On Monday 4th June, Year 5 were transported back to 1891 and visited Holdenby House where they were given an insight into the life of a Victorian Servant. The children were under the strict supervision of Mrs Crumpet, a cook, who expected lots of help in her kitchen and Mr Rhett, a severe butler. The children were allocated jobs and undertook lots of practical activities including cooking, polishing and doing the laundry. If you wish to see more photos click here
