They went sweeping for minibeasts in the meadows and nettles and got to look closely at different minibeasts they had been learning about last term. They were very excited to see ladybirds at all stages of their development! They also experienced making nature bunting by placing cloth over petals and leaves and hitting them with a rock to see the wonderful colours emerge. They even had enough time to build dens in the woods and watch the newly hatched ducklings swimming in the pond through their binoculars in the bird hides.
