On Tuesday 4^th June, Year 6 visited Ely Cathedral and learnt about what life was like for the Brothers at the monastery in Ely. They learnt some of their sign language and made candles and decorated letters like they would have done in the past. They walked the labyrinth to find out about the different types of prayer and then completed a trail to discover why believers go on pilgrimages and why Christians come to Ely in particular. They used artefacts to learn what was involved for pilgrims in the past.
